The Test Season 3 is a docu-series produced by Amazon Studios for Amazon Prime Video and is co-produced by Cricket Australia and Amazon Studios. It was titled The Test: A New Era for Australia’s Team in its first season.

A total of eight episodes were released on 12 March 2020 by Prime Video. An Australian men’s cricket team is the subject of the docu-series. In the first season, Justin Langer and captain Tim Paine follow the team’s journey to redemption following the 2018 Australian ball-tampering scandal.

As of right now, there is no news regarding the release date of Test Season 3. The Test Season 3 is likely to premiere in 2024 or 2025 after season 2. Since there is no news regarding the show’s renewal status this is just speculation. Test Season 3 is expected to premiere at the end of 2023 or at the beginning of 2024. Since the makers haven’t confirmed anything, this is all speculation.

The plot of Test Season 3 is not yet known since the series is not yet renewed for the third season, but the series is expected to pick up where season 2 ended. The Test Season 2 follows the Australian men’s cricket team’s transition after the departures of captain Tim Paine and coach Justin Langer. The players reveal what goes on behind the scenes as they navigate disruptions in an uncertain world.

Cricket was played in Pakistan for the first time in over two decades during the 2021/22 Test Season, and players took on arch-rivals in England. A deeper look at the Australian cricket team is revealed in Test Season 2. Cricket Australia and Whooshka Media are collaborating with Amazon Studios on Test Season 2. Three producers produced the show: Mish Armstrong, Adrian Brown, and Richard Ostroff.
