The teaser, directed by Debaloy Bhattacharya, was released on November 19, 2019. The official trailer for Montu Pilot was launched on the Bengali OTT platform Hoichoi on December 1.
Montu, the protagonist of the story, aspired to be a pilot as a child. His mother attempted everything to get him out of the red-light district of Neelkuthi, but she failed and died a tragic end. Montu becomes a pimp, escort transporter, and he does not understand love or experience delicate emotions. His life, however, changes when he meets Bhromor.

Montu Pilot season 3, consisting of ten episodes, will premiere on Hoichoi in 2023.

Montu (Sourav Dasunexpected )’s return to the brothel Neelkuthi has everyone concerned about his intentions. He arrived with a female named Bohni (Rafiath Rashid Mithila) to do business with Bibijaan (Chandrayee Ghosh).
Who is this young lady? Montu, where were you before you came back here? What became to Bhromor (Solanki Roy)? Why wasn’t Bhromor and Montu’s daughter Jonaki with him when he landed in Neelkuthi? The answers to these questions were gradually revealed, with a surprise at the end.
