Asus dual-screen laptop

Taiwanese PC manufacturer Asus launched the futuristic-looking dual-screen laptops Asus Zenbook Duo and Asus Zenbook Duo Pro on September 6th in the US. Asus calls this the ScreenPad Plus which is not a surprise. It is basically a normal laptop with an abnormal screen. This laptop has two screens, one screen is a normal screen and the second screen is placed just above the keyboard. A unique touchpad is also given in the laptop, the touchpad is also a kind of screen. 

 


Asus has launched two new dual-screen laptops - the ZenBook Pro Duo (UX581) and ZenBook Duo (UX481) - in the Indian market (October 2019).


The primary display in Zenbook Pro is a 15.6 inch 4K OLED display and the secondary display is a 4K IPS touch screen display. Bezels are ultra-slim, and screen to body ratio is 89%. The colours of the display are vivid, the display is perfect for watching movies, playing games and live-streaming at the same time and video editing. Secondary display just above the keyboard is very useful for video or audio editors and writers. It can be used to view additional windows.
The touchpad of the laptop is placed on the right side of the keyboard, you can convert the touchpad into a numeric keypad with a single tap.

Now, you just can’t buy a laptop just because of the dual-screen feature. You have to be more practical when you are paying a big amount for a fancy flagship device. Well, not in just display Asus is very impressive in the department of hardware. This laptop is nothing but a beast of laptops. 
Asus Zenbook Duo Pro is powered by the latest 9th Gen Intel i9 eight-core processor and has NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics, 6GB GDDR6 graphics card, 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD. It offers dongle free connectivity with the latest Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port.
The non-pro version has some low specifications as compared to the Pro version, the non-pro version with 14-inch primary display lacks Intel Core i9 processor, but has 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10510U and a GPU with NVIDIA MX250 in 8GB and 6GB RAM variants. It offers two USB 3.1 Gen2 USB-C port. 
The built quality of both laptops is quite good that’s why the laptop is not very slim and lightweight. It weighs 2.5kg and is 24mm thick. It is made up of brushed aluminium. Keyboard quality is solid.
Unsurprisingly, the battery life of this laptop is not very good because of the dual high-quality display and extreme performance load.

The Zenbook Duo Pro comes in a hard case packaging with some cool and useful accessories like hand supporter which is gonna very useful while typing. 

Pros and Cons of the Device:
Pros- Futuristic screen design, amazing screen quality, powerful computing for all types of work, good built quality, decent keyboard, amazing sound quality.
Cons- Too expensive, not suitable for all users, battery life is not good. 


The price of these two fancy machines is not budget-friendly, the price tag is also fancy which is quite obvious.
